Ängby HVB is focused on girls aged 13-21 with neuropsychiatric and mental health issues and/or intellectual disabilities. Located in central Knivsta, Uppland County.

We are looking for someone with great commitment, experience, and relevant education.

We work with engagement in everything concerning our clients. The job involves meeting people in crisis and/or with difficult life situations. It is very important that you can see opportunities, communicate these, and meet people in a respectful manner.

Together, you will engage in practical activities in daily life such as practicing ADL, motivating in conversations, establishing and implementing plans and treatment interventions. As a treatment pedagog, you assist in contacts with authorities, guardians, and social services.

You act as a support for the youth, and together you develop strategies, practice existing strategies to achieve goals in daily life. The goal is for our youth to gain greater self-confidence, which leads to an increased ability to manage their everyday lives.

Main responsibilities:

• Daily implementation of planning for the youth
• Documentation
• Contact with networks and authorities
• Present supervision and motivational support
• Daily implementation in the organization's planning

You are relationship-building and have a good ability to establish contact with people in vulnerable situations. You are calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner and enjoy collaborating with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• Educated social pedagogue or 400 YHP treatment pedagog, as well as competence in mentalization theory.
• Driving license B
• Extract from suspicion and criminal record
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Working hours: Days, evenings, weekends with sleeping on-call duty.
